 whose Art reflects a love of simplicty and magickal landscapes and helped inspire this piece. Thanks for your support!!Among the duties of the Greek Goddess Iris was that of leading the souls of the dead to the Elysian Fields. In token of that faith the Greeks planted purple Iris on the graves. Elysium, equates to "peaceful". In Greek mythology, Elysium refers to the abode of the blessed, paradise. Situated at the end of the world, it is here, that those chosen by the gods/goddesses are sent to.
